Welcome to the New Zealand Federation of
Dance
Teachers (Wellington Branch) competition Web Site for Ballroom, Latin
American and New Vogue dancers in the Wellington region.
Together with
the Auckland and Christchurch branches we are part of the
New Zealand Federation of Dance Teachers, Inc. Everything you need
to know about our local competitions is here.
The NZFDT Wellington Branch
is very active and has meetings approximately every two months. Our
members are encouraged to host these gatherings of their professional
colleagues in their homes or dancing studios.
Mixing socially dispenses
with most of the formalities and allows members to be more relaxed.
The
branch organises three competitions per year. The Harbour City,
Jimmy James and Capital City Competition. Once every three years
Wellington hosts the Nationals Competiton.
